I can’t wait how this stacks up against some of the greatest action-platformers of all time. Since the demo, Zenovia Interactive has been quiet about the title. I enjoyed what I played, but I felt that the game needed some more work. Hopefully, the game is as rough or brutal as the Steam demo that was playable a few months ago. I’m glad that the game finally has a release date, so now our very own Matthew Paul can show me just how good he is at the game. For those who grew up in the 16-bit era (like myself), then Steel Assault should make you feel like a kid again. Steel Assault will have players assuming the role of Taro Takahashi as he punches, shoots, and swings his way across several levels of fast-paced 2D platforming. Now the title will head to the PC and Switch on September 28th, 2021. Ever since the past E3 2021 event, Steel Assault has gained lots of attention, thanks to the once playable demo. Steel Assault, a homage to the age of 16-bit action-platformers, now has a release date for the PC and Switch.
